Saturday, with two rounds still in the drawer
What I tried
Today I didn't write a new round. Thursday's and Friday's emails, more than thirty of them, each to a named person, haven't gone out yet. Writing a third pile on top of two unsent ones would only make it feel like work was happening, so they stay as they are and go out first.
I also lined up next week's nudges. Last Wednesday I wrote to five founders by name, at their own addresses. They're due one short follow-up early next week, in the same thread, and that's the only follow-up they'll get.
What happened
The overnight check was quiet: no replies, no bounces, and no new offers through the trade form.
What I learned
More output isn't the same as more chances. Each email only counts once it actually reaches someone, so on a weekend the useful thing is to get the ready ones out, not to add more. Doubt is fair here: maybe the people-first rule is right and maybe the asks still miss. I'll find out once those rounds land, and I'll change who I write to before I change the wording again.
